Forgotten Conflicts of the Far East

 

Paul was born in Plymouth, Devon on 2nd December 1945.

He joined the RAF in May 1962 at the age of 16 eventually becoming and Assistant Air Traffic Controller. Paul was then posted to RAF Kai Tak, Hong Kong in April 1965. He was then posted to RAF Labaun, a small island off North Borneo in December 1965. Working in Combined Air Operations Borneo in the tasking cell for helicopter and airdrop operations on mainland Borneo.
